Mud pies

These pictures make me laugh out loud every time I look at them. Jager is really into digging in the dirt or mud which ever come first. This is him getting ridiculously dirty making mud pies in the back yard.

seriously look at those expressions!!!! He is such a character

Cooper's fun in the sun!

These pictures were taken during Coopers first real swim. During the summer we were lucky enough to have Grandpa and Grandma Clark's pool to swim in as much as we wanted. The first few time swimming Cooper fell asleep I think it was because the floating car I had for him didn't really get him wet so all he did was float in the warm sun which made it hard to stay awake.

These pictures were taken around the third or fourth swim and as you can see he looks like he is have a lot more fun. It took him a while to like the water but he loves it now.

HE ROLLED

Well Cooper roller over today. He is now a few days over 6 months and decided today was the day to roll. He will only roll to the left side but just the same he is rolling over. He made it off the rug onto the hardwood already. The kids love watching him. To them it's like he's performing a cool trick just for their viewing enjoyment. I'll have to get so me gates for my stairs soon. That is one of a few draw backs to building a four level split, too my many stairways.
We also went for swim at my grandpa's pool today and I couldn't believe how brave Jager was being. While we were in Calgary with Kyrstyn and Dick the kids went on the watersides and I think that is when Jager got more comfortable with the water. Today he was doing cannonballs off the diving board and running jumps into the water. Even Jack was swimming with out his water ring. It's funny how kids will see one kid take the plunge and them it doesn't seem so scary. The kids have so much fun swimming.

"I'm watching you"

So everyone in my family knows that I HATE when Dogs do their business on my lawn. So the other day we had just pulled up to the house in our van and I see a lady walking her dog past our house. She stops to let her dog walk on my grass. So I'm sitting in the van watching this with the kids and I said to myself but out loud "I'm watching you! Don't you dare let your dog pee on my grass." Luckily I think she saw us pull up and kept walking. Anyways the reason for this story is on Monday we went to Calgary with Krystyn and Dick and we were getting the van all packed up and Jager was in the van with all of the doors open while I was making trips. So Jager sees a man walking his dog past our house and what do you think he say? Any guesses? Ya "Hey, I'm watching you! Don't you let your dog pee on our grass." He even did the whole pointing his two fingers at his eyes them at the man.It was freaking funny but a little embarrassing. I guess I should watch what I say around my very impressionable kids. I told Jager that we don't say that to people, at least to their faces and all he say is "ah oh." Well I just had to blog this so that one day we could have a little chuckle about the things Jager and mommy say.
