Oh my little "Coop Dog" I couldn't leave him out. Cooper is just about 4 months.
I just took these pictures before he went to bed. He was loving it, so full of smiles and giggles.

Kaiya (much better)

These are the ones I took when it was a bit less sunny. Man can she pose. I wish I would have gotten more of Jag but boys will be boys and girls will be girls. Kaiya was such a good sport.

Magic

These are a few snap shots I took of Cohen in my backyard. I had some fun playin around with them in photoshop. It is so crazy what you can end up with, with a little editing. Robyn put this as her header on her blog and it looks sooo cute.

This is before the magic of photoshop. So fun huh.

Cohen & Jag

AHHHH! I just love this picture. Jager loves Cohen so much.
When ever he comes over he is always wanting to hold him.The only sad thing about this pic is that Cohen has an excuse to be in his pj's in the middle of the day, but Jager on the other hand just has a LAZY mom. Jager is such a boy, so I love when he's so SWEET!

Swinging

Well today was a great day for the kids. Daddy finished their playground last night and today was the first day they got to swing on the swings. We bought the playground last year from Costco. Geoff and helpers got about 80% of it done and the rest sat there through the winter. So after may days of pleading to Daddy, he and Dick put the swings up and the rest of the accessories last night. The kids were outside all day today, and that is no exaggeration. I got a bit of a burn myself.

Kaiya has just learned to "pump" herself on the swings and is having so much fun. Thank goodness there are 3 swings or I think there would have been some tears. I don't think I saw Kaiya off the swing all afternoon. It was hard to get her off even for her favorite lunch (Mac & Cheese and beans. Yummy) I have to admit it is one of my fav's too. Kaiya was saying to Geoff this afternoon that she felt a little sad, now that she has learned how to pump and get herself going on the swing. When he asked why she said "because no one will push me anymore". Geoff reassured her that he would still push her as often as she would like. Kaiya played hookie from school today to spend the afternoon with Krystyn, Dick, Greta, and Ozzie. They leave on Friday so I thought it would be fun for Kaiya and Jager to spend their last day playing in the sun with them. They also spent some time running through the sprinkler. My kids get a little wimpy though. If there is any wind they complain that it gets too cold. All in all it was a great day in the sun and I look forward to may more days like today.

Tummy time

Well Jager sure does love his little brother. He is always giving him kisses and hugs especially when I put him down for tummy time. It seem like as soon as Jager notices I put him down he is right there on the floor with him, kissing and hugging away. Oh well I guess it could be worse. Cooper like most babies doesn't last too long on his tummy, He gets a little mad after about 5 min or so. I try and put him on his tummy as much as I can to help build those neck muscles. He still seems so fragile to me.

Coopers personality is really starting to shine through as of late. He smiles so much and loves attention. We have been so blessed. He really is a great baby. He is so well tempered. The only thing I could complain about, would be the lack of sleep. He is still getting up quit a bit. He has been a little stuffed up lately so I'm sure that isn't helping matters too much. Oh well hopefully he will get the hang of things soon...

The kids room's

This is my mom's amazing job on the vinyl she did for the kids rooms. kaiya and Jager's room was a beautiful shade of pink before but now it's this cool green. I think it turned out really nice. Thanks MOM!! I love it

This is in Coopers room. So cute huh! I also have some really cute blocks for the wall right above the crib to put up. Sorry mom I need some help getting them straight, then I will put up a picture. They are soooo cute, I did them in green to bring in some more color.
For customs Vinyl contact my mom Jane at Heartfelt signs and crafts (see business card on the side of my blog. Her new number in Lethbridge is 403-524-4296)

Cookie FLOWER POWER

This is the Cookie basket I made for Kaiya to bring to school. I had been promising her that I would make them for her class all year, but have not had the time or energy. Well the school year is almost over and she was devastated when I told her she didn't have anymore snack days. Her teacher was nice enough to let he bring them on cooking day. She had so much fun picking the flowers and handing them out to her friends.

Sugar Cookies:(recipe from my Grandma Wolsey)

3/4 C butter
1 1/4 C sugar
2 eggs
1/2 C milk
2 1/2 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Vanilla

Cream butter sugar and eggs together. Then add milk and vanilla. In separate bowl combined Flour, baking powder, and salt. Add your dry ingredients in the wet mixture and chill for at least 30 mins. I always have to add more flour than the recipe calls for. Just add enough till the dough isn't too sticky.Roll out and bake the cookies off at 350 for about 8 mins. Yum Yum!

Frosting:

about 1Tbs butter
Milk
Icing sugar
Vanilla

I don't really know the amounts, because it always seem different depending on how many cookies I make. But you get the Idea.

Fun in the SUN

This was Coopers first real taste of the good old outdoors. For once it wasn't a windy day and he sure loved the fresh air. Cooper is now 3 1/2 months weighing in at a whole 9lbs 7 oz as of last Tuesday. The doctor is having us supplement him with a little formula to help get his weight up a bit more. I guess he will be my "little man" for now.

Kaiya was the only one who would pose with Cooper. Jager was way to busy throwing water balloon's at Dick.

Just chillin in the shade.

Krystyn, Dick. Greta and Ozzie are here visiting and the kids are having so much fun with their cousins. We don't get to see them very often so we cherish all the time with them.

As I was going through my pictures, I found this one and it made me laugh out loud. Cooper is already freaked out by the girls. Let's just hope it stays that way...

Which one's my baby?

Ok, so I sometimes have to leave Cooper unsupervised on the floor while I get stuff done. Kaiya kept asking me where my camera was and I know when she asks me that, that it usually means there is something she thinks is picture worthy. Both Kaiya and Jager set this up and thought it was pretty hilarious. Well so did I so we snapped a pic. Oh the memories we'll have. Man that third baby is pretty ugly.

Oh man, the things the kids get to do at Grandma Sommerfeldt's house. These pictures make me laugh.I love the look on Kaiya's face in the one with her marshmallow caught on fire.

Jesse bought these little grills and the kids had a blast roasting marshmallows over it. I asked Kaiya how many marshmallows she ate and she said she ate 10. No wonder she was complaining of sore tummy. We are so blessed to be able to go to Jesse's for dinner every Sunday. It's been this way since we've been married which will be 9 years this September. I know, I am so spoiled. The kids have alot of fun going for rides on grandpa's lift and making a cheese sandwich (as Ron would call it) with grandpa and his motorized bed. I love the time they get to spend time with Ron, when he isn't able to come to them. The Kids are also looking forward to having Grandma and Grandpa Wolsey close by. The kids sure loved visiting them in the Hat and going in the Hot tub, hint hint mom and dad.

Kaiya and Jager went to their cousin Davis's birthday party last month and I guess bobbed for apples because they have been asking me everyday if they could go bobbing for apples and everyday I say maybe later. Well I finally caved. So here they go bobbing for apples. They had a blast. Geoff even got in on the fun. What a good Daddy!

This is Kaiya with MISS MARY her dance teacher. We took this pic on her last day of dance. She dances at the university and they only do a year end show every three years so this was at the parent viewing. She was so proud to have her family come and watch her dance. She dances so graceful. Geoff's mom made her the tutu, so cute.

Kaiya and Jager are having their first real sleepover tonight at auntie Mandy's house. The kids sleepover at Grandma Sommerfeldt's all the time, but this is different, they are with friends(cousins). They brought so much stuff with them. Kaiya had packed 3 different outfits, pj's, scriptures, her camara,Tooth brushes, tooth paste and her new yoga pants as she likes to call them. Jager had his bag packed too. I went to check it to see what he had packed and the boy had put 6 different shirts in his suitcase all still on the hangers, a pull up to sleep in you know just in case. I guess the kids pack like me. I always over pack. It's funny how your kids can sometimes drive you a little bonkers and then when you are away from them for more than an hour or so you begin to really miss them. Geoff and I found ourselves talking about the kids and how much we love them all night. It really makes you wonder what we ever did with ourselves before kids came along. Man how boring life would be with out them now.

We were talking about Jager and how lately he is always giving out random I love yous. We will be just doing everyday stuff and he will say "mom" And I say "Yes Jager" "I love you mom." and he dose the the same for Geoff. It is so cute because he will do it at least 10 times a day. No matter how many times he says it, it never has or never will get old. I love to hear his random I love yous. I wonder how we got so lucky to have them in our lives.

Well all in all we did enjoy our night out just the two of us oh and little Coop Dog as he sometimes get called. THANKS Mand and Keith!!!

Today was Kaiya's Mothers day party at school. It was so much fun. the whole room was decorated with paper spring flowers and posters the kids made. They started out with a slide show of picture the kids drew about what their mom is best at, Kaiya's was: My mom is the best at taking care of cooper. She drew the cutest little picture of me holding Cooper. They sang us the cutes songs and served us cake, very yummy but not so good for losing that baby weight.

Ahh, they love each other today...

What is it with my kids, they love to eat anywhere but the kitchen table.
It didn't last too long before Jager spilled. Oh the joys...

Ahh, they love each other today. Kaiya and Jager have a had a bit of a love hate relationship as of late.
I know they love each other but they sure do know how to push those buttons.
Kaiya and I have been a little obsessed with the flowers in the hair lately. She sure loves to dress up!
