In their Sunday best

The kids all ready to go to church. I love 11:00 church. If we were still 9:00 there would be no way I would have time to snap a picture let alone be on time. Is it just me or are Sundays (the day of rest) the most crazy days where you feel no rest. It never fails I'm always in a rush and leaving the house a disaster. I hate coming home from church to breakfast dishes still on the table. Oh well, maybe one day I will learn to manage my time a little bit better.

I can't keep Jager and Kaiya out of the bumbo. Kaiya took this pic of Jag. doesn't he look impressed...

Kindergym

This is Jager at his very first day of kindergym. It's a Mom and tots Gymnastics program.
I have been wanting to put Jager onto something we could do together, so we could have some one on one time.
Since Cooper's been born he doesn't get much.

As you can see his favorite part was the foam pit. He wouldn't stop asking to go back in,
even while the teachers were wanting him to do other stuff. It was a little hard to keep him focused, but I think it will be good for him to take some direction for someone other than his mom and dad. I am really looking forward to going back and being able to spend time with my crazy boy.

Big Boy Clothes

Oh how I love when you can start putting on big boy clothes instead of living in a sleeper.
This is just one of the many cute outfit he has to wear.

Little shoes...

Playing in the April snow

Kaiya made this snowman all by herself. I was so proud!
What is with this weather. My brother Drew told me that when I dropped Kaiya off to his house for Davis's birthday party she was being a little shy and hesitant to go play with the other kids. She decided to try and make some small talk with Drew. she says " So what about this crazy weather we have been having." She was trying really hard to have a grownup conversation him so she didn't have go down stairs with the other kids. Pretty funny.

Snow angels

Jager licking the window Yuck!! What a goofball he is.

Bumbo

This was Cooper's first day in his bumbo. He still look so small in it.
I may have jumped the gun a little, but they say you can put them in at around 3 months. So what the heck.
He didn't last too long. The kids sure loved seeing him sitting up.

A slight smile here. I think that means he liked it.

Made with LOVE

When Kaiya was about three years old my sister Robyn was making macaroni for. Robyn told Kaiya that she put something very special in the macaroni, she told her it was made with LOVE. Kaiya has never forgotten it. Tonight Geoff and I were lucky enough to go out on a date thanks to Grandma Sommerfeldt. Anyway I usally wimp out and fix the kids macaroni before we go out to eat. As I was feeding Cooper and the kids were chowing down Kaiya asked "Mom did you put milk in the macaroni?" I said "Yes Kiaya, I also put something special in it, I put LOVE in too." Kaiya: "You did mom? Mom I can feel the LOVE in this macaroni, I can taste it, it tastes different." Jager then says "mom I can taste the love too" I told them that I put LOVE in everything I make for them. It was pretty funny. I LOVE them so much, they bring me so much joy.

Spoiled

Ok it's time to give my hubby some props, I don't mean to brag, but I will. Since I have had Cooper, Geoff has been my ROCK.

Letting me sleep in.
Driving kaiya to and from dance and school with Jager.
loving me even when I act crazy.
Telling me how beautiful I am even when I don't feel it.
Giving the BEST foot rubs and massages.
Driving to Walmart at 10:30pm for a breast pump.
Shopping with me in Greatfalls with no complaining.
Being the peace maker in our home when I'm going a little nuts with the kiddies.
Being a provider for our family.
Leading our family in family prayers.
Letting me have girls night outs.
telling my kids the best bed time stories ever.
and
Being the best dad and husband I could ever ask for.

The list could go on and on. I'm so grateful for Geoff and all he does for me. Geoff and I joke that people are going to start to think that he is a single dad, because he is the one that dose alot of the diving around. I have to say, I' m very spoiled. I think I can count on one hand the number of time I have had to pack all three kids around at ounce. There is definitely a benefit to Geoff's flexibility selling realestate. I love you Geoffie! Thanks for being my ROCK!

Jagers first BIG BOY bike. I love how he is posing for this picture. He has been asking for a big bike like Kaiya for weeks now. After 10 or so stores we finally got this one from the first store we went to.

Kaiya had out grown her old bike, so these are her new wheels. She loves to ride her bike. When we go for bike rides we often get some looks because she peddels really fast while yelling "ahhhhh, I love the speed" no joke it's pretty funny. She also has been trying out some trick riding, it makes me a little nervous.

Puppet shows

Kaiya was off school all week for Easter break so I had to think of some stuff for them to do. I bought this cute little kit to make foam puppets. It was then Kaiya's idea to make a puppet theater. I cut the box and they went to town decorating it. Kaiya was so proud of her drawings of the puppets.

They both preformed a little show for me and grandma and grandpa Wolsey.

It got a little crowded in there. They didn't last long in there together.

putting yesterday behind me

Yesterday was one of those days. To start the day off my lovely baby boy was up wanting to eat about every two hours. Man you really do forget what it is like to have a new born. I think if we didn't forget over time no one would ever want more babies. All I can say is at least he's darn cute. I think it must have been a full moon because my kids were a little bit crazy. By the end of the night I felt like the worst mom on the planet. I felt like I was getting after them for everything. I always want my kids to feel loved and when you have one of those days you sure feel like scum by the end of it. Luckily children are so forgiving and resilient. By bed time we had all calmed down and said our I'm sorries and love yous and Kaiya says "Mom I love you, you are the best mom and I never want a new mom." now a bit of background on that one is, whenever they don't like what I have to say (usually Jager), will say "I want a new mom." so sad I know, but I try not to take it personally. Anyway, it really warmed my heart to hear that after our crazy day. When I really think about the big picture and how the Lord has entrusted us with these little spirits, it makes you think twice about the things you get mad about. There will always be toys to picked up and cleaning to be done, but the most important thing is those little kids and the time we spend loving and teaching them. The good days always out number the bad. So here's to putting yesterday behind me and working on today...

Easter

This was our little Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Sommerfedlt's. Grandpa even got in his chair to join the festivities. The kids had so much fun looking for treats all around the front yard. After they filled their baskets we had a picnic of yummy KFC, compliments of grandma and grandpa. Once the picnic was over the Christmas oh I mean the Easter presents came out. Grandma's sure do love to spoil. the kids had so much fun with their cousins Greta and Ozzie and came home with a bunch of goodies.

This was the Easter egg hunt we had out at Drew and Marty's (grandpa clarks). Grandma Wolsey made those cute little buckets and fill them full of goodies for all of the grandkids to find. The kids had a blast. There is so much room to run around out there. Cooper spent the whole time in his chair but seemed to enjoy the fresh air.

I've been staying up way to late playing with photoshop. So much to learn so little time. Geoff got me some new actions in photoshop and I'm learning how to use them. I use a sunglow action on this one. I love how it look like the is sun casting on her face. Now all I need to do is take more pictures to play with. I just hope my test subjects wont mind too much. I think I will do some outside pictures this next week. The weather in suppose to be in the teens Yahoo finally some nice weather.

If I were a BOY

Ahhh so much hair. this was Kaiya first real hair cut.

AFTER
Kaiya had been asking for a hair cut for a long time. The week before she got it cut I was trying to comb through her tangles and she was in tears saying : KAIYA" I wish I was a boy mom" MOM"Oh Kaiya If you were a boy than I would be so lonely. I would be the only girl in the family" KAIYA: " I don't care, I will let my earring holes grow over and change my clothes." After I combed through the rest of her hair I explained that it wasn't that easy to change from a girl to a boy, she finally decided she would stay a girl (thank heavens) but she wanted a hair cut ASAP! Thanks Kristi Wolsey for doing a great job. She was so proud to come home and show everyone her new hair cut. She loves it and it's definitely easier to comb through now.

Jager at Cohen's photo shoot.

I took this picture of Jager while taking pictures of my nephew Cohen. This is Jager's fav toy right now. He wont go anywhere without it, he even brings it to bed. He has gotten really good at shooting it, maybe a little too good. I have to get after him for shooting at me while I'm feeding Cooper. Jager doesn't really love to pose but today he was being good. I just hope he will be this good when I take pictures of him and Kiaya for real. Anyways I couldn't not post this one. I just love the way the colors pop.
