Fun in the SUN

This was Coopers first real taste of the good old outdoors. For once it wasn't a windy day and he sure loved the fresh air. Cooper is now 3 1/2 months weighing in at a whole 9lbs 7 oz as of last Tuesday. The doctor is having us supplement him with a little formula to help get his weight up a bit more. I guess he will be my "little man" for now.

Kaiya was the only one who would pose with Cooper. Jager was way to busy throwing water balloon's at Dick.

Just chillin in the shade.

Krystyn, Dick. Greta and Ozzie are here visiting and the kids are having so much fun with their cousins. We don't get to see them very often so we cherish all the time with them.

As I was going through my pictures, I found this one and it made me laugh out loud. Cooper is already freaked out by the girls. Let's just hope it stays that way...

Which one's my baby?

Ok, so I sometimes have to leave Cooper unsupervised on the floor while I get stuff done. Kaiya kept asking me where my camera was and I know when she asks me that, that it usually means there is something she thinks is picture worthy. Both Kaiya and Jager set this up and thought it was pretty hilarious. Well so did I so we snapped a pic. Oh the memories we'll have. Man that third baby is pretty ugly.

Oh man, the things the kids get to do at Grandma Sommerfeldt's house. These pictures make me laugh.I love the look on Kaiya's face in the one with her marshmallow caught on fire.

Jesse bought these little grills and the kids had a blast roasting marshmallows over it. I asked Kaiya how many marshmallows she ate and she said she ate 10. No wonder she was complaining of sore tummy. We are so blessed to be able to go to Jesse's for dinner every Sunday. It's been this way since we've been married which will be 9 years this September. I know, I am so spoiled. The kids have alot of fun going for rides on grandpa's lift and making a cheese sandwich (as Ron would call it) with grandpa and his motorized bed. I love the time they get to spend time with Ron, when he isn't able to come to them. The Kids are also looking forward to having Grandma and Grandpa Wolsey close by. The kids sure loved visiting them in the Hat and going in the Hot tub, hint hint mom and dad.

Kaiya and Jager went to their cousin Davis's birthday party last month and I guess bobbed for apples because they have been asking me everyday if they could go bobbing for apples and everyday I say maybe later. Well I finally caved. So here they go bobbing for apples. They had a blast. Geoff even got in on the fun. What a good Daddy!

This is Kaiya with MISS MARY her dance teacher. We took this pic on her last day of dance. She dances at the university and they only do a year end show every three years so this was at the parent viewing. She was so proud to have her family come and watch her dance. She dances so graceful. Geoff's mom made her the tutu, so cute.

Kaiya and Jager are having their first real sleepover tonight at auntie Mandy's house. The kids sleepover at Grandma Sommerfeldt's all the time, but this is different, they are with friends(cousins). They brought so much stuff with them. Kaiya had packed 3 different outfits, pj's, scriptures, her camara,Tooth brushes, tooth paste and her new yoga pants as she likes to call them. Jager had his bag packed too. I went to check it to see what he had packed and the boy had put 6 different shirts in his suitcase all still on the hangers, a pull up to sleep in you know just in case. I guess the kids pack like me. I always over pack. It's funny how your kids can sometimes drive you a little bonkers and then when you are away from them for more than an hour or so you begin to really miss them. Geoff and I found ourselves talking about the kids and how much we love them all night. It really makes you wonder what we ever did with ourselves before kids came along. Man how boring life would be with out them now.

We were talking about Jager and how lately he is always giving out random I love yous. We will be just doing everyday stuff and he will say "mom" And I say "Yes Jager" "I love you mom." and he dose the the same for Geoff. It is so cute because he will do it at least 10 times a day. No matter how many times he says it, it never has or never will get old. I love to hear his random I love yous. I wonder how we got so lucky to have them in our lives.

Well all in all we did enjoy our night out just the two of us oh and little Coop Dog as he sometimes get called. THANKS Mand and Keith!!!

Kindergarten (mothers day party)

Today was Kaiya's Mothers day party at school. It was so much fun. the whole room was decorated with paper spring flowers and posters the kids made. They started out with a slide show of picture the kids drew about what their mom is best at, Kaiya's was: My mom is the best at taking care of cooper. She drew the cutest little picture of me holding Cooper. They sang us the cutes songs and served us cake, very yummy but not so good for losing that baby weight.

This was the little gift Kaiya made me for Mothers day. So cute.
this was in the card she made.

Ahh, they love each other today...

What is it with my kids, they love to eat anywhere but the kitchen table.
It didn't last too long before Jager spilled. Oh the joys...

Ahh, they love each other today. Kaiya and Jager have a had a bit of a love hate relationship as of late.
I know they love each other but they sure do know how to push those buttons.
Kaiya and I have been a little obsessed with the flowers in the hair lately. She sure loves to dress up!

In their Sunday best

The kids all ready to go to church. I love 11:00 church. If we were still 9:00 there would be no way I would have time to snap a picture let alone be on time. Is it just me or are Sundays (the day of rest) the most crazy days where you feel no rest. It never fails I'm always in a rush and leaving the house a disaster. I hate coming home from church to breakfast dishes still on the table. Oh well, maybe one day I will learn to manage my time a little bit better.

I can't keep Jager and Kaiya out of the bumbo. Kaiya took this pic of Jag. doesn't he look impressed...

Kindergym

This is Jager at his very first day of kindergym. It's a Mom and tots Gymnastics program.
I have been wanting to put Jager onto something we could do together, so we could have some one on one time.
Since Cooper's been born he doesn't get much.

As you can see his favorite part was the foam pit. He wouldn't stop asking to go back in,
even while the teachers were wanting him to do other stuff. It was a little hard to keep him focused, but I think it will be good for him to take some direction for someone other than his mom and dad. I am really looking forward to going back and being able to spend time with my crazy boy.

Big Boy Clothes

Oh how I love when you can start putting on big boy clothes instead of living in a sleeper.
This is just one of the many cute outfit he has to wear.

Little shoes...

Playing in the April snow

Kaiya made this snowman all by herself. I was so proud!
What is with this weather. My brother Drew told me that when I dropped Kaiya off to his house for Davis's birthday party she was being a little shy and hesitant to go play with the other kids. She decided to try and make some small talk with Drew. she says " So what about this crazy weather we have been having." She was trying really hard to have a grownup conversation him so she didn't have go down stairs with the other kids. Pretty funny.

Snow angels

Jager licking the window Yuck!! What a goofball he is.

Bumbo

This was Cooper's first day in his bumbo. He still look so small in it.
I may have jumped the gun a little, but they say you can put them in at around 3 months. So what the heck.
He didn't last too long. The kids sure loved seeing him sitting up.

A slight smile here. I think that means he liked it.

Made with LOVE

When Kaiya was about three years old my sister Robyn was making macaroni for. Robyn told Kaiya that she put something very special in the macaroni, she told her it was made with LOVE. Kaiya has never forgotten it. Tonight Geoff and I were lucky enough to go out on a date thanks to Grandma Sommerfeldt. Anyway I usally wimp out and fix the kids macaroni before we go out to eat. As I was feeding Cooper and the kids were chowing down Kaiya asked "Mom did you put milk in the macaroni?" I said "Yes Kiaya, I also put something special in it, I put LOVE in too." Kaiya: "You did mom? Mom I can feel the LOVE in this macaroni, I can taste it, it tastes different." Jager then says "mom I can taste the love too" I told them that I put LOVE in everything I make for them. It was pretty funny. I LOVE them so much, they bring me so much joy.
